FIRST DEFEAT IN THE WARKS SHIELD IN 4 YEARS !

Tries from Sam Chare, Paddy D’arcy and Leo Craddock and 5 points from the steady boot of all rounder Loz Gittins were not enough to carry on Earlsdons winning run in the Warks Shield competition.
Early injuries to captain Ally McPheators and winger Victory on his debut, sandwiched in between two yellow cards for Earlsdon players caused issues as the coaching team had to move players into different positions .
Leamington played well and their left winger was gifted two interceptions during the game which gave him a brace of tries.
Earlsdon played out the final 5 mins encamped in on the Leamington line looking for the winning score, despite the official penalising the home team 4 times for scrum offences, yellow carding two Leamington players, no penalty try was given. The 5th scrum he penalised Earlsdon and that was it !
Best of luck in the next round Leamington RFC
